Description

In partnership with Catholic Youth Ministry, this course is aimed at young adults and those interested in learning about the connection between Christianity and Philosophy. This course provides an introduction into the wonderful world of Philosophy. A tour of the key figures in philosophy beginning with Socrates and the central themes including proving the existence of God and immortality of the soul. It will explore the connection between faith and reason and how the Church uses philosophy to engage with contemporary issues. In each session, participants will also have the opportunity to do some philosophy.

Mr Richard Sellwood

Richard Sellwood (MA, MPhil) is currently a sessional academic at the University of Notre Dame Australia. He is a keen surfer who loves to share his passion for philosophy.
