Description

Is it possible to know Jesus Christ without loving him? This course introduces students to the kinds of questions that arise concerning the person, life, work, significance and self-understanding of Jesus Christ. It covers the Jesus tradition in the New Testament, explores the origin of Christology in the life experience of the Apostles, unpacks the meaning of the “Kerygma” and delves into how God prepared all humanity to understand and welcome his Son through the history of the people of Israel.

Presenter

Prof Paolo Sala

Professor Paolo Sala is a teacher of dogmatic theology. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Licentiate in Theology from the Pontifical Theological University of St Bonaventure in Rome. He has been a presenter at the Maranatha Institute (before it was renamed Centre for Faith Enrichment) and has taught theology at the Redemptoris Mater Seminary in Morley, Notre Dame University in Fremantle and St Charles’ Seminary in Guildford. Paolo is married and is the proud father of three children and grandfather of four grand-children.
