This four week course will explore the deep richness of the Catholic understanding of woman. Students will learn the meaning of ‘the feminine genius’, woman’s call to lift the culture, home and workplace to focus on ‘the primacy of the person’, and how the grace of God brings the redemption of femininity. Classes will also include discussion on the power and vulnerability of feminine self-gift, receptivity, intuition and emotion, and a reflection on the feminine genius and redemption as lived out in Our Lady, St Catherine of Siena and Edith Stein (St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross). Natalie is a Theology tutor with the University of Notre Dame’s School of Theology and Philosophy. She holds a Masters of Theology from the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family Studies in Melbourne and a Masters of Philosophy by Research from the University of Notre Dame Australia in Fremantle. She has provided numerous presentations, and workshops to young people in the Archdioceses of Perth and Melbourne. Natalie has an interest in how a relationship with God impacts our every day life and our deepest relationships and is passionate about others in personal growth and formation.
