Laudato Si – Trinity, Dead or Alive?

Face to Face Course
Wednesdays 7th August - 28th August
10.00am - 12.00pm (4 sessions)
Fr Kelvin Barrett SSC
Newman Siena Centre (Clune Lecture Theatre)

Starting with Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si, we will explore the way in which Scripture encourages us to understand that our connection with the environment is at the heart of our calling as Christians. By incorporating what we know from physics about the evolutionary process of creation, we will see in another way how the Trinity is alive and active in the whole of creation – from the very beginning until the present and beyond. We will discover that creation is both at the very heart of the life of the Trinity, and at the very core of our lives. In this process we will find that the Trinity overflows with a love that urges us to participate in the ‘creating’ Mission of God.
