A key theme highlighted by the recent consultation process for the Plenary Council 2020 was the importance of the need for the Church in Australia to be Inclusive, Participatory and Synodal. One aspect of this discussion was a greater openness to, and celebration of, the diverse cultures found within Australia. Delivered by two speakers, this talk lays emphasis on the valuable role that migrant communities and Indigenous Australians play within a multicultural Australian Church that moves together with Christ and on the way of Christ.
