In Memory of Her: Women in the New Testament

Face to Face Course
Wednesdays 2nd August - 30th August
10.00am - 12.30pm (5 sessions)
Dr Margaret Scharf, OP
Newman Siena Centre (Clune Lecture Theatre)

There are many named women in the Christian Scriptures who are well-known to us, and others simply known as “a woman.” Studies into the roles of women in the Early Church display the importance of their relationship to key characters, especially Jesus, and the need for various ministries carried out by women. These five weeks will also include a study of women in the Gospels/Acts, St Paul’s letters, starring leading ladies and “hidden figures.”
