31 October 2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the journey of Reformation by Martin Luther. The Lutheran-Roman Catholic Commission on Unity presents us with two challenges: “the purification and healing of memories, and the restoration of Christian unity in accordance with the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.” This program will cover the history, spirituality, and theology of Martin Luther and the Catholic Church, including the most recent developments in the call for unity.
